Delightful 18th century house with spectacular views across Sandsend Bay to Whitby. Purchased as family holiday home with children in mind, it provides warm comfortable accommodation. Situate immediately opposite a long sandy beach leading all the way to Whitby ( no need to get the car out at all), the lounge and all bedrooms overlook the sea and there is a secure terrace (with outdoor furniture) which is a real sun trap and safe play area for young children. Sandsend is a small totally unspoilt village with an excellent general store, gift shops, 2 pubs, restaurants and seaside cafes, cliff walks to Staithes and Runswick Bay. Beach walk to Whitby and North York Moors close by. Some unrestricted parking.

This property offers 2 Double rooms, 2 twin rooms and a single room plus cot - sleeping 9 in total. It has one bathroom with bath, shower and toilet on the first floor and a second toilet and hot power shower /basin/shaver point accessed from outside the house on the ground floor( particularly useful for small children coming off the beach covered in sand!). There is free WIFI

It has a fully fitted kitchen including with seating for 9 plus a high chair and a useful cellar which acts as a storage area for beach toys etc.

The lounge overlooks the sea from all its' windows and is comfotable and cosy. It has a large flat screen TV with a DVD and video player

All room are heated with effective storage heaters and there is supplemental electric heating if required.

There is a stair gate at the top of the first flight of stairs giving access to two spacious double rooms. A second flight of stairs gives access to the two good sized twin in rooms. The largest of the twin rooms has two twin beds and a sofa It also has a second large flat screen tv with blue ray player making a second room for children to watch tv / dvd's etc . A hair dryer is also provided

There is unrestricted (but not reserved) parking immediately outside the House for approximately 300 yards. When it is busy there is public parking very close by. There is a bus stop for buses to Whitby, 100 yards from the house.

This property is ideal for a family holiday. It is priced as a 4+4 property because it only has one indoor bathroom and shower.It is set up for 9 people and the second floor twin rooms make excellent rooms for children with plenty of space and their own TV
