BIRCH END (Sleeps 6 + cot, in 2 double bedded rooms, a twin and single bedroom, all with washbasins): Spacious detached dormer bungalow. Large open plan living room. New kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, fridgefreezer, electric cooker, microwave. Double and single bedroom on ground floor with bathroom having shower over bath. Double and twin bedroom upstairs together with toilet. Fell views. Private parking for 2 or 3 cars. Terrace with garden furniture. Adjoining woodland, ideal for children to play away from the road. 5 minutes level walk to centre of Ambleside.
The cottages offer various bedroom arrangements, modern bathrooms, mostly with open plan living areas (some with separate kitchen). Heating etc is included in rent. Only extra would be for bed linen hire at £12 double bed, £8 single.
