A complimentary basket of logs is provided [the property has electric central heating from highly efficient overnight storage heaters]. Bed linen and towels are provided are included in the price and beds are made up ready for your arrival. One bath and one hand towel provided per person.
Greystoke is a non-tourist village which has a castle (closed to the public, but with permissive paths for beautiful walks), an impressive church, riding stables, a heated outdoor swimming pool, post office-cum-general store and telephone kiosk. The local pubs offer excellent food.
It is an ideal location for touring the region with easy access to Penrith, Keswick, all the Lakes and Fells, the Pennines and the Yorkshire Dales.
We offer short breaks, minimum 2 night stay, throughout the year. However, please note, for short short breaks during Easter and Christmas holidays there is a minimum stay requirement of 4 nights.
