The beach, pubs, restaurants and supermarket of Combe Martin are just 350 metres (5 minutes walk) away by the main street, there are many more shops and eateries along the street. The best fish & chips is 6 minutes walk away.

A regular farmers market is held at the village hall. There are many events and festivals held around this gorgeous part of north Devon.

Just to the east of Combe Martin Bay are the Hangman hills, the Hangman cliffs are made up of Little Hangman and the Great Hangman. The Great Hangman is a hog-backed hill of 1043 ft with a cliff-face of 820 ft, making it the highest cliff in southern Britain, and can be reached by following the South West Coast Path which runs through the village.

Combe Martin lies within the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, these walks are accessed within a 2 minutes walk from the house.

A central location to visit the towns and beaches of Ilfracombe, Lynton, Lymouth, Woolacombe, Croyde, Saunton and Barnstaple which are all a short drive away.

Bedrooms: Sleeping 6 over three bedrooms with views of the bay.

Bedroom 1. Double room, King size bed, Juliet balcony with views down to the town and the beach.
Bedroom 2. Either a large double or twin room with a beach and sea view. It’s own walk in shower and a wash basin.
Bedroom 3. Double room with a beach and sea view.

The family bathroom, all rooms are near or next to the shared bathroom with a bath, wash basin and wc. There is also a further separate wc.

Kitchen: The modern fitted kitchen is well equipped with an eye level oven with grill, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer. There are pots and pans, a kettle and toaster etc. Breakfast bar with 2 chairs.

Living room and dining area: Open plan Living room / dining area with sea views. Patio doors open out onto a terrace with fantastic views. Wide screen tv, large sofa and coffee table. Large dining table easily dines 6 guests. Free WiFi through out.

Outside and the gardens: Mature landscaped gardens surround the property on three sides with views of Combe Martin, the beach, bay and the sea. Your own grassed meadow which is quite steep but leads up to a great view of the house and over Combe Martin – of course the sea view.

Private off road parking: A private drive with off road parking, easily for two cars but three can be parked there.

This is the last of four properties on this private road.
This road is very narrow and quite steep with two very tight bends, at a squeeze we get a VW T6 camper van up there with a little two point reversing and full lock on the steering, if small roads and difficult parking are tricky for you then you can park in the car park at the bottom of the private road by the beach where 24 hour parking is available.
