THE HENDRE FARMHOUSE is a five bedroom self catering farmhouse sleeping 10/11. A recently renovated period Welsh farmhouse is surrounded by a well kept garden with lawns and flower beds.
There are four bedrooms upstairs, two ensuite and two sharing a shower room. Downstairs beside the front door there is a newly converted double room with a wet room shower, suitable for Wheelchair access. The well equiped kitchen extends to a dining area with a large table and seating for 10/11. The comfortable sitting room has an wood burning stove and access to the garden.
Beyond the garden, it is a five minute walk across the fields to the River Irfon and the tiny church of St Davis's Llanynis in a field by the river. This beautiful stretch of the Irfon has many secluded pools for wild swimming and plenty of shallows for paddling and minnowing.
The Hendre is a perfect base for active holidays or peacefully relaxing and gentle walks to the riverbank.

Bedroom 3 - twin beds cannot be pushed together
Bedroom 4 - large en suite bedroom - twin beds pushed together
Bedroom 5 - GROUND FLOOR Adjacent to the front door - en suite bedroom - electrically operated twin beds - wet room suitable for wheelchair access.

All linen and towels provided, beds made up.

2 Bathrooms en-suite to Bedrooms 1 and 4 with over the bath shower, basin and w.c.
Shower room shared by Bedroom 2 and Bedroom 3 with Shower basin and w.c.

Two comfortable sofas and various armchairs , with TV, DVD and wood burning stove - (logs provided). Door to garden and outside terrace.
STUDY/FAMILY ROOM - Daybed sofa can provides extra single bed, desk and table games and puzzles - DVD player.
Kitchen / dinning room, well equipped, with electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge-freezer, and dish washer.
UTILITY ROOM with boiler, washing machine, drying facilities and airing cupboard small extra chest freezer, also hanging for coats and boot storage.
Downstairs w.c.
Front Door to paved area with lean to shelter (outside power point) parking area for several cars. Paved area on two aspects of the house. Large garden with Picnic tables and Barbecue provided.

situated 3 ½ miles west of Builth Wells, Powys (home of The Royal Welsh Show).
An easy 1/2 hour drive to Hay-on-Wye, the Black Mountains, the Brecon Beacons and the Elan Valley.
From the top of the hill to the river side are beautiful wooded walks with good tracks for cyclists, there is pony trekking nearby.
The river valley is designated as a site of special scientific interest because of its rare flora and fauna.
Fishing for Salmon, Trout and Grayling on the Cefnllysgwynne beat by arrangement with us.
