You don’t have the hassle of sending deposit cheques and the availability is blocked out instantly to other customers. It’s safe, secure and there’s no booking fee.
Once you’ve selected your preferred date and duration and are ready to book the property, click the easybook button and follow the online payment instructions.
If your booking is within 6 weeks of your arrival at the property, the full balance will be due. If your booking is outside of 6 weeks, a 10% deposit (plus any arising VAT) will be due and you can pay online using either a credit or debit card. At this stage, the payment is only pre-authorised and your card is not actually debited.
The applicable holiday period will then be blocked out so it displays as unavailable for other Stilwell’s Cottages Direct customers, whilst Stilwell’s Cottages Direct contact the owner on your behalf. Upon acceptance of the booking by the property owner, Stilwell’s Cottages Direct will then process your payment. If you only pay the deposit, the balance will be due to the owner by the time they advise.
If the property owner declines the booking, no payment will be taken and you will be able to look for alternative properties.
