Beautiful Cottage within minutes of Sutherlands best beaches

A traditional croft house with recently renovated large barn annex. Situated at the end of a private road in wild Sutherland landscape, yet within 10 minutes walk of a beautiful sand beach at Polin. There are several other beaches within a couple of miles which provide good fishing, surfing and access for launching small boats. This magnificent stretch of open scenery provides for a wide variety of short local excursions (e.g Sandwood Bay, Cape Wrath, Golf in Durness, Handa Island)

This is a simple family cottage not aiming to cater for sophisticated needs. This area has what remains of a crofting way of life, it is therefore most important this is respected, so please email me if you wish to take a dog

The newly converted barn annex offers a large play area (ideal for children on rainy day)

double room with an extra single, 2nd bedroom with 4 single beds and one single room, bathroom, Kitchen/diner which seats 8 comfortably plus room for more, cosy sitting room with coal burning stove.

There is additional sleeping in the barn annex for upto 4 people. This consists of a King Platform bed (unsuitable for children), plus a double sofa bed, shower room.

Due to location we ask customers to clean the cottage before they depart. £50 refundable security deposit sent to owner 2 weeks prior to holiday. We do not provide duvets, towels or any linen. We do have pillows and 8 blankets.
