Situated within Dorset's Area of Outstanding Natural beauty on an early 17th century working farm our cottages have been restored from Grade II listed buildings, in a courtyard setting featuring a lovely rill and wildlife pond. Our facilities include a laundry room and a large games room with wireless internet, table tennis, pool table, darts and table football, board games and books, and toys for young children. Full of character with beams, vaulted ceilings and a four poster bed in the master bedroom,Our cottages are well equipped and cosy for year round accommodation. We also have 2 well established coarse lakes nearby stocked with carp, bream, tench and roach available for our visitors. For those not wishing to fish the views are superb and in a wonderful setting to take a picnic and laze and enjoy the ambience. Wildlife abounds in our peaceful setting with great walks from the door. Two long distance footpaths can be accessed close to the farm. Historic market towns, Jurassic coast, stately homes, gardens, golf, fishing, clay pigeon shooting, riding and Llama Trekking are all available nearby or within a short drive of this idyllic retreat which is well situated for Dorset, Somerset and Devon. The cottages are also ideally located for a visit to The Wild Garlic in Beaminster, set up by Mat Follas, winner of BBC Masterchef 2009 and Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall's River Cottage is only half an hour away. The village amenities are only a 15 minute walk away and include shop/postoffice and child and dog friendly pub serving good food at very reasonable rates.

We have accomodation for 2 - 15 people in five cottages sleeping from 2 each in 3 cottages, 3 in one cottage and 6 in our barn. Every bedroom in each cottage has an en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath or shower room and the barn has 3 en-suites, two with baths and one shower room. The barn has its own enclosed courtyard, with views over the fields where deer can often be seen grazing, and the cottages have enclosed gardens laid to grass. BBQ's and picnic benches are provided for al-fresco dining. All cottages are very well equipped for year round occupation and are available for longer lets too. Dogs are well catered for with long walks and open fields and a kennel to dry off in if wished. Maps are provided in the cottages of walks around the area.
