Beautiful cottage on a working hill farm ,with an abundance of birds ,flowers and wild life .The cottage was newly built on the site of the stable block in local stone with many nice features .No steps .and wide doors . and plenty of room inside the cottage . open plan
Nelly’s Cottage and Alice .are detached .but a covered entrance to the court yard which leads to a garden area and patio – ideal for bird-watching and summer barbecues. Garden furniture is provided and this area is also ideal for children to play safely.

The surrounding area offers plenty – cycling or walking whilst enjoying the summer time fauna and flora, bird and wildlife watching in the nearby outdoors Red Squirrels and Black Grouse also we are situated in a Geo Park, or enjoying some of the historic locations such as Hadrian’s Wall or the towns of Beamish, Alston and Durham.
Both cottages offer modern conveniences as well as additional facilities for disabled guests, large living rooms, fully fitted kitchens and dining areas which seat up to six.
This property comprises 3 bedrooms - 1 king size en-suite room, a twin .plus a twin en-suite room in Nelly's Cottage and in Alice's Cottage a single room. . 1king size en-suit room and a very large twin room with ensuit shower . One bathroom has a bath .two wash basins and WC . The twin with a roll in shower and toilet with disabled access. The lounge, with wonderful views over the dale, is open-plan, and has TV (FREE VIEW) DVD .VIDO and the kitchen has a dining area to seat six and is very well equipped with all appliances.There is WFI at the farm house for guests to use in the day time .
