Thorntree is a lovely rural cottage. Fantastic views of Ben Lomond and Trossachs
Thorntree is situated in the hills above Flanders Moss, midway between Loch Lomond, the Trossachs and Stirling, on the southern edge of the Highlands. We are on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.
We have converted one wing of our farmhouse to make spacious and comfortable accommodation. The french windows open onto your own garden and patio with wonderful views over the Carse od Stirling and Ben Lomond.
The downstaris provides comfortable and spacious living accommodation with sitting area, dining area, and a fully fitted kitchen.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms, two of which can either be twin bedded or doubles - your choice (please let us know when booking). The smaller bedroom is always furnished as a twin and is a faourite with children. One twin/double bedroom has a private shower and WC. There is a further bathroom and seperate WC.
Local attractions include Stirling and Doune Castles and the Lake of Mentieth which are only 15 minutes away. Edinburgh is about an hour away and Glasgow 45 minutes. The owners are always happy to give advice about what to do in the area.
All fuel charges (metered) to be paid directly to the owner on departure, (as a guide) fuel charges range from £25.
This property has broadband wifi, token charge £5 per week.
