This is an excellent first-floor apartment, built in 2004. It enjoys a quiet location in the beautiful village of Bamburgh, a few minutes walk from the castle, sandy beaches and village amenities, restaurants etc.

The location provides the ideal centre for exploring the Heritage Coast with its many castles, such as Bamburgh itself, Alnwick (of Hogwarts fame), Dunstanburgh and Warkworth within easy reach. The beaches in the area are fantastic and the islands of Lindisfarne (Holy Island) and the Farnes are close by.

Rural Northumberland also offers many attractions for tourists, particularly walkers, cyclists, those interested in wildlife and history. Bamburgh itself was the ancient seat of the Kings of Northumbria and to the West lie Hadrian's Wall, the Cheviot Hills and Kielder.

The village itself is a magnet for tourists and is frequently quite busy, but many visitors to the apartment have remarked upon its quiet and secluded location although only minutes away from the village green.

Nobody visiting Bamburgh goes away other than massively impressed, not least with the castle which overlooks the village on one side and the sea on the other from its lofty basalt rock.
