Pendragon Cottage is made from solid stone and has been converted from a 160 year old listed barn conversation on a non-working farm overlooking Bodmin Moor and the many moorland churches and also St. Breock Hills. It is unbelievably quiet for touring all the North Cornish Coast. It has been converted to a high standard and has every comfort including a luxury bed, which will be made up for the tenants arrival. The beaches of Polzeath 2 miles (surfing and safebathing) Daymer Bay (Windsurfing) and Rock (sailing, fishing ferry to PADSTOW) are within 1.5 mileand Port Quin and Port Isaac within 5 miles. It is an area with an abundance of high quality eateries all adding to a wonderful surfing, beach, walking, golfing or just sitting and looking at the panoramic view holiday. Eden Project half hours drive and Padstow 1 hours walk or halfhours drive away (Rick Steins Restaurant and Bistro). The famous Camel Cycle Trail 4 miles. Close to Roserrow Golf and Country Club with swimming pool, sauna and beauty treatments and also meals and golf. St. Enodoc golf course is nearby. Polzeath Beach is a lifeguard controlled safe beach and has a wide stretch of sand fringed with 2 magnificent headlands of Pentire Point and Stepper, and the poet John Betjemen lived and wrote poetry about the area. Polzeath is the jewel in the crown of the North Cornish Coast and for walkers a dream for wildlife spotting and birdwatching. The grounds of Pendragon open out on to a nature reserve and in the distance the many churches of Bodmin Moor can be seen from the bedroom window. This 1 bed cottage offers 1 double bedroom and downstairs in the lounge, 2 x 3 foot single sprung mattresses with futon bases, which can be used as singles or put together to make a double in the lounge. Or, one mattress can be taken upstairs for a child to use if he/she sleeps with parents. Open-plan, fitted kitchen, lounge/dinette, bathroom with large shower cabinet.(No bath)
Free parking at Polzeath beach at all times infront of owner's house. Parking for 2 cars at the cottage. We are open all year round and have special rates for Christmas and New Year. The cottage has been inspected by Quality in Tourism Inspector and given 3 star rating. In the grounds of the cottage there is a nature reserve planted out with lots of trees.
