Gwennol Cottage is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just West of the small fishing village of Porthleven. Magnificent cliff walks and sandy beaches are very close at hand.

The cottage is one of a cluster of old tin-miners' cottages and farm buildings which have been rescued and "converted" by a group of friends planning to retire to this lovely spot, so the accommodation is of a high standard, comfortabley equipped and cared for by a friend who lives permanently nearby.

One mile down the lane is a local pub. A mile further is a post office and general store. Helston (4 miles) and Penzance (8 miles) cater for more sophisticated needs.

Places to visit: To your East - Lizard Peninsula's cliffs, beaches, great tropical gardens, tranquil estuaries. To your West - West Penrith's magical ancient fields & villages. Penzance, a golden granite town with art shops, ships chandlers & the biggest Antique Centre in the South West. To your North - 1/2 hour to St Ives, famous for its beauty & the painters who recorded it and world famous surfing beaches.
