Church Farm Cottage is a single, ETB rated 4* detached cottage, not part of a holiday park or group of cottages. It is tastefully furnished , very well equipped and is set in the grounds of Church Farm House. In the rural village of Stainton by Langworth. With views over countryside, the cottage is surrounded by its own enclosed garden and accessed via its own driveway.
The cottage is only 6 miles easy drive from the lovely Cathedral city of Lincoln. A really picturesque City, with its fantastic Gothic Cathedral, Medieval Castle, cobbled streets, Roman museum, Victorian theatre, independant shops and restaurants.The nearby Lincolnshire Wolds has lovely scenery, pretty villages and Market towns to explore. The Lincolnshire Coast with its miles of unspoilt beaches, as well as lively seaside resorts, is within 35 miles.
Architect designed, the cottage has 3 double bedrooms ( 1 with a king-size bed and 2 with twin beds) plus a delightful baby's nursery bedroom. There is a family bathroom with a bath,basin and WC. On the ground floor there is a shower/wet-room, along with a separate cloakroom with a 2nd W.C. The sitting room has has a squashy leather suite, 2 high back arm chairs and a wood burning stove. French windows lead out to the garden. The superb dining kitchen will host many memorable family meals.
The cottage is warm and cosy in winter, with central heating and double glazing together with additional heat from the woodburning stove.
We want you to have a relaxing time at our cottage and lots of home from home extras are provided, including quality bed linen and large towels, DVD, video and free view TV, Hi Fi,Wi Fi and Dishwasher. A selection of films, books, magazines and board games are availble for you to enjoy. We can also provide quailty bicycles (small charge) for children and adults to explore the local area. The garden has furniture and a gas barbeque.
The local area is a haven for wildlife, Barn Owls nest on the paddock. Experience a slower pace of life,with cleaner air. Collect eggs from our free range chickens! There are a wealth of local footpaths and bridleways (you can even bring your own horse!) allowing you to walk right from the front door. Explore the owner's 30 acres of private woodland and beautiful wildflower meadow situated nearby. Up to 2 very well behaved dogs can stay too!. (£10 each dog to be paid to the owner).
