Station View in Powys, a cottage in Cardigan Bay and Mid Wales: Station View exterior

3 bedroomed village centre house on 3 floors

Sennybridge is a village on the northern edge of the Brecon Beacons halfway between Brecon and Llandovery. It is a good centre for walking, fishing and pony trekking. It is also ideal for observing Red Kites and Buzzards as well as many other birds. There is now three shops, a post office, two garages and four pubs. For eating out there is plenty of choice in Sennybridge and the nearby villages of Defynog and Pentrebach.

There are buses between Brecon and Swansea and Brecon and Llandovery stopping in Sennybridge, with links to other towns in the area.

The house was built about one hundred years age and has been used as the village post office and a drapers shop at various times in history. In common with other neighbouring houses it is built on three floors with the land behind sloping to a field and the River Usk beyond.

The National Park Visitors Centre near Libanus (about 8 miles) is well worth a visit for the views it commands of the Brecon Beacons and for the wide range of information and activities on offer.

This cottage offers: 1 double room, 1 twin, a bunk and 1 Z-bed. Lounge and seperate dining room, fully fitted kitchen and bathroom.
