Stangwrach Cottage is surrounded by beautiful views and gardens and sits on a Welsh hillside within the Towy Valley.
The cottage itself dates back to the 15th century and was rebuild in 1979 to provide well-furnished homely holiday accommodation whilst still retaining its original character.
This perfect location for anyone who enjoys walking, cycling, photography, fishing and bird watching and is ideal place to simply relax and unwind.
Alternatively, if you want to explore the wider area, stangwrach Cottage is a good base for visiting the Brecon Beacons, the National Botanical Garden of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens; fishing on the river Towy or Cothi; enjoying the mountain bike trails in the Brechfa forest; visiting castles and exploring the coastline.
Located just outside the small quite village of Llanfynydd, within the heart of the Carmarthenshire countryside, this is central to all that Wales has to offer. It is also known for its outstanding beauty, breathtaking scenery and dramatic landscapes
The cottage sleeps 4. One twin upstairs and One double downstairs. There is an extra double sofa-bed available in the twin room if needed for a further two people. Sleeping 6 in total. The newly updated living-room is upstairs taking full advantage of the views. There are a selection of books, dvds, and videos available for you to use. The new bathroom is situated next to the double room on the ground floor, as is the large fully fitted kitchen with views out over the garden.
