Walking, Wildlife, Tranquility and Comfort at Craigend

Craigend is the most remote of our four properties at Laighwood Holidays, but a popular choice for families and couples. It is situated two and a half miles into the hills behind Butterstone, reached by our private tarmac road. You may park your car at the door.

You will be staying only half a mile from our Hill Loch where you can fish for wild brown trout (fly only) at the base of Bennachally Hill - well worth a climb to the monument for spectacular views as far north as the Cairngorms, south to the Pentlands, west to Ben Mhor and east to the Sidlaws.

Laighwood is centrally located for sightseeing and for all country pursuits, including golf, fishing and walking in the heart of beautiful Perthshire. Activites such as white water rafting and kayaking available locally.

This cottage offers 1 double bedroom, 2 single attic bedrooms (accessed via very steep, unique stairs), bathroom with shower, sitting room with open fire, living room with dining area, kitchen.
