The cottage 50 years ago with thick stone walls and is ideally located for a traditional seaside family holiday or exploring the Isle of Purbeck and the Jurassic Coast.. It is situated just off the lower High Street and is very convenient for beach, the Downs, shops and many varied restaurants. There is a 13'6” garage, and similar length driveway with no height restriction but as the cottage is in such a convenient position you may not need to use a car.
It is heated throughout and has a spacious comfortable sitting room with flat-screen television with Freeview and DVD. There is a three piece suite seating five and a two seater sofa. There is also a double sofa bed . The fitted kitchen is well equipped including electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, toaster and microwave and has all you would need for a self-catering holiday.
The dining room has an extending pine table with six chairs, and there is a pine dresser.
Bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor. The main bedroom has a 4'6” double bed with dressing table and stool with matching bedside tables and lamps. The smaller room has 3' wide bunk beds and chest of drawers. Pillows and various thickness duvets are provided; if you don't wish to bring your own, towels and bedlinen are available with extra charge to cover laundry costs.
Electricity with heating is included in the price. A cot and high-chair are available at no extra charge.
Swanage has an award-winning beach with safe bathing, sailing and windsurfing. There are lots of leisure activities and all-weather attractions and family entertainment. On the pier there is a diving school offering approved courses.
