Large detached bungalow in 1/2 acre level garden with all modern conveniences.

"Moorview" provides a perfect home-from-home holiday on the beautiful West Coast of Lewis. Situated only 35 minutes' drive from Stornoway ferry terminal, it provides a quiet, relaxing base from which to just "chill" and/or experience the unique Hebridean culture. Privately set as the last house in the village, with open views over peat moor to the rear and hill and coastal views to the front, your holiday home sleeps up to 10 in 4 bedrooms. Two double beds, a pair of bunk beds, a single bed and cot plus a sofa bed ensure large groups will be comfortable.
A large lounge with open peat fire, dining kitchen, utilty room with washing machine and drier, and two bathrooms, (one with a shower) complete the accommodation. Central heating, the fire and double glazing ensure you are cozy, too. There is a fully enclosed garden and an adjacent large field ideal for children and dogs, a driveway for several cars, a car-port and garage. You will be spoiled for walks being adjacent to the moor with many paths and ten minutes from the beach. A two minute walk takes you to the local store, and three minutes further on, you are at the Borve House Hotel which serves local produce meals daily. All heating, towels and linen are included and well behaved dogs are particularly welcomed at no extra charge.

While peace and quiet are guaranteed, the area abounds with wild-life and the local fauna ensures it is a walkers' and nature lovers' paradise. Fishing on the local river or in the sea is rather fruitful.

The house is fully equipped as you would expect in a family home; there are even games, toys and bikes for your use on your holiday. This is our first year as a holiday house so everything is new. We think you'll like it.
